Color Block Baby Blanket
Yarn: 5 skeins of size 3 Baby Bee Sweet Delight yarn (115g, 4 oz, 377 yds, 345m), #14 Teddy, #40 Boo Pink, #82 baby Sage, #10 Angel, #80 Chocolate and 1 skein of size 3 Stylecraft Special Dk Yarn (100g, 322 yds, 295 m) #1422 Aspen or 6 skeins of size 3 Dk yarn
Materials: US Size 7 (4.5 mm) crochet hook, yarn needle, scissors, tape measure
Size: 36” (91.44 cm) x 36” (91.44 cm)
Gauge: Yarn gauge 16 sts x 20 rows
Abbreviations and Stitches (U.S. Terms): ch – chain, dc – double crochet, rep – repeat, sc – single crochet, st(s) – stitch(es)
Notes: Pattern is written in U.S. terms, ch-1 does not count as a stitch
INSTRUCTIONS:
Ch 135
Row 1: Sc in the 2nd ch from hook, dc in the next ch, *sc in the next ch, dc in the next ch; repeat from * across, ending with a dc in the last ch, ch 1, turn. (67 sc, 67 dc)
Row 2: Sc in the very first st, dc in the next st, *sc in the next st, dc in the next st; repeat from * across ending with dc in the last st, ch 1, turn. (67 sc, 67 dc)
Note: Always make sure you do a sc in a dc of previous round and a dc in the sc of previous round.
Repeat row 2 until the blanket measures 36” (91.44 cm), changing colors every 6” (15.24 cm)
Weave in ends and for best results block.
