Description
A little bag full of big charm that you made yourself!
There’s something so satisfying about turning a few balls of yarn into something you can actually use and give away. This African Flower Drawstring Pouch is one of my favorite beginner projects because it feels special without being complicated. You’ll crochet two African Flower squares, join them together, and finish off the top with a pretty scalloped edging and a drawstring. That’s it and the result looks like something from a boutique.
It’s wonderful for jewelry, small gifts, party favors, holiday sachets, or just tucking a little treat inside for someone you love.

This is a wonderful stash-buster too. Each color section of the flower is small, so it’s a perfect way to use up those leftover bits of yarn you’ve been holding onto. Change your colors and you have a completely different pouch every time — the holiday version in red and green is always a hit.
I hope this little project brings you as much joy to make as it does to give away.
