Striped Water Bottle Holder
September 20, 2024
Who has been on a long walk or hike and had to carry a water bottle the whole time? or have you gone shopping at the store or farmers market and left the water bottle you were carrying behind? Well it happened to me when I went shopping and left my water bottle in the dressing room. The day after leaving my water bottle in the dressing room, my sister came to visit and we took my dog for a morning walk, as we were walking my sister carried her water bottle in her hands for the whole walk. I thought, wouldn’t it be nice not to have to carry your water bottle while walking, shopping, or hiking. These incidences inspired me to get out my hook and yarn and create something cool and functional!
A crochet water bottle holder is a great way to carry your 17 to 20 oz water bottle over your shoulder while keeping your hands free.
This easy to crochet bottle holder pattern is done using single and double crochet stitches, therefore it is easy to customize the size to fit your favorite water bottle! You can make it taller by adding a few extra rows or make the handle longer by adding a few more chain stitches. Remember when you place a full water bottle in the holder the handle will stretch.
The modern stripe pattern is versatile, since you can use many different color combinations to give your it a personalized touch. Just think how cool it would look in sport team colors, school colors, classic, or retro colors!
A crochet striped water bottle holder is a simple project that combines creativity with everyday practicality. Whether you’re making one for yourself or as a thoughtful handmade gift, the colorful stripes and functional design make it a fun accessory you’ll reach for again and again. Gather your favorite yarn colors, enjoy the process, and create a water bottle holder that’s as unique as your personal style.
Have a hooky day!
