What Is International Granny Square Day?
International Granny Square Day is an annual celebration hosted by Simply Crochet, bringing crocheters and crafters from around the world together through their love of granny squares.
The idea is simple: crocheters make or choose a granny square, take a photo, and share it on social media. When thousands of squares are shared, they come together to create a massive virtual crochet blanket made from squares submitted by people everywhere.
It is a wonderful reminder that something as simple as a little crocheted square can connect a whole community.
